My Story
For the next four months the pupils at The Aquila School are going to be initiating and leading a number of fundraising events to help raise money to build a school in Nepal. Events planned to date include- climbing stairs to see how many times our pupils can climb the equivalent of Everest, building towers and pathways of dirham coins around the school and a fundraising day full of events suggested and initiated by our pupils. We will use this project to support pupils learning about different communities and in the long term very much hope that some of our teachers and even pupils can visit the school.
