About the Cause

Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:

Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.

Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.

Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.

My Story

My daughter’s journey with autism has been one of courage, resilience, and unconditional love. Since 2 years I have problem, as we began to notice that her world was different—sounds, lights, and changes in routine could overwhelm her, and words often felt out of reach. Severe autism has shaped her daily life, making communication and social interaction a challenge, but it has also revealed a unique way of seeing the world that continues to inspire us. Every small step forward is a victory. A moment of eye contact, a gesture to express her needs, or a smile when she feels safe—these milestones remind us of her strength. Therapy sessions, though demanding, have become bridges to progress. Speech therapy helps her find her voice, occupational therapy teaches her to manage sensory sensitivities, and specialized education nurtures her abilities. Her love for music and simple routines brings joy to our family. She finds comfort in melodies and delight in lining up her favorite toys. These moments show us that happiness can be found in the smallest details. While the path is not easy, it is filled with hope. As parents, we have learned patience, perseverance, and the importance of celebrating every achievement, no matter how small. Autism does not define her spirit—it is only part of her story. With compassion, understanding, and continued support, we believe she can reach her full potential. Our daughter’s journey is a testament to the power.
