My Story

Every passing day sees the suffering of Gaza’s people deepen, as they struggle with the challenges of limited food supplies and absence of shelter. Recognizing the increasingly depleting supply of necessities needed and the heightened sentiment of compassion among the UAE community, and a shared desire to extend more support, Dubai Cares launched Gaza In Our Hearts in Ramadan 2024, to mobilize the UAE community and provide them the opportunity to unite and respond to this urgent need with a sense of responsibility and empowerment.      Building upon the ongoing success of the UAE’s “Tarahum for Gaza” initiative, the campaign has been raising funds for concrete emergency support, with all donations going towards: Hot Meals Distribution, Food Baskets, and Emergency Shelter Tents. To ensure the prompt and efficient supply of this emergency relief, Dubai Cares partnered with Anera who are working closely with UN, diplomatic and non-governmental organization partners to open aid corridors to enable it to urgently deliver this life-saving aid.    As of April 2024, the campaign has raised over AED 10,750,000, which has enabled Anera to deliver 20,616,223 hot meals, 384,252 food baskets and 704 emergency shelter tents to the people of Gaza.    Your support allows us to continue to be the lifeline that Gaza needs today!    The campaign is approved by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) and all relevant entities from the UAE.      Permit Number: PRHCE-002637151
