Back Their Future

In Lebanon, many children are losing access to education due to poverty. Families must choose between food and school. This campaign supports students in need—because education is not charity, it’s hope, dignity, and a chance for a better future.

About the Cause

Without urgent intervention, the lives and futures of 2.2 million children are at serious risk in Lebanon. Dubai Cares, with its partner in Lebanon, is on the ground delivering emergency relief aid which includes essential food supplies, shelter, winterization kits and psychological support.

Through your generosity and compassion, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by the humanitarian crisis. Together, let us stand in solidarity with Lebanon and show that hope and compassion know no borders.

My Story

As a social worker, I witness the silent pain of families every day—parents torn apart by the inability to send their children to school, and children who carry dreams far bigger than what their circumstances allow. Education is slipping away from too many innocent hands simply because of poverty. I see bright minds sitting at home instead of in classrooms, and it breaks something in me every single time. This campaign is not just a project—it’s deeply personal. I was once that child too. During my own education journey, I was fortunate enough to have a sponsor who believed in me and gave me the chance to learn, grow, and become who I am today. Without that support, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Now it’s my turn to give back. I cannot stay silent while children lose their futures to financial barriers. I don’t want a single child to miss school because of something they cannot control. This campaign is a promise—from me to every child who feels unseen—that they matter, that their education matters, and that someone out there cares enough to stand with them. Every donation, every share, every voice counts. Together, we can change their story.
