About the Cause

Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:

Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.

Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.

Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.

My Story

Hi, Im a small time farmer from India. We carry out fishing activities and farming. We are a small fishing community in southern part of India in Epranpuram village in Tamil Nadu. Families of all faith reside here. The living standards of kids and elderly people here is beyond imagination. With less than a dollar in hand they try to survive. First thing we are keen on providing is Clothes. Almost all kids here have no clothes on their body, Second is to provide food. Even two eggs a day will bring their nutritional value to them. As they survive on whatever small fishes they manage to find in polluted drains. The third thing is sanitation and cleaning of drains. It will bring immense change pertaining to hygiene condition they live on. If the first three conditions are met, we intend to put them in a nearby village school by arranging some sort of safe transport for kids. The transport will be exclusively for school purposes only or a nearby clinic visit. please donate generously for this cause. May Allah bless us all with abundance. I personally don't want these kids to have future like their parents do that to from generations. They know or have seen only this in their life. their parents have never been to school, nor are they interested in sending their kids to one. Eventually anybody of any age in this community ends up doing the same daily labour and living in poor standards. I just want to bring about a small change and give them basic necessities in life.
