About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
Cancer is a terrifying term. People feat uttering the two syllable word. Many children, even before they get to see the beauty of this world, experience this two syllable illness. Not only does it kills the cells of their body, but also their smiles,shine and joy. Every child deserves to be happy and lead normal lives. Every child should be able to play in the park , have an ice-cream or run around relentlessly. This is the main drive for me to start this campaign. Beginning with something small, I wish to support such kids and their families both financially and emotionally. Kids must receive proper , efficacious and timely treatment so that then can get out of their cages of ill heath and fly up in the sky. That is why , our campaign's name is 'Cure&Conquer Cancer'. Every child has the strength to conquer the big C, but they need your help and support.
