About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
I initiated the educational fundraiser campaign because I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking opportunities and improving lives. It means more to me than words can express. As an educator, I've witnessed the transformative power of learning, and I couldn't stand by while students in my community were denied the chance to reach their full potential due to financial barriers. This campaign is a labor of love, a call to action to bridge the gap in educational access. It means giving every child the opportunity to dream, learn, and grow, regardless of their background. It means empowering the next generation with knowledge and skills to shape a brighter future for themselves and their communities. The campaign represents hope, equality, and the belief that we can create positive change together. It's a beacon of light for those who face educational obstacles, showing them that their dreams can become reality. To me, this campaign is a testament to the strength of community, the generosity of people, and the enduring power of education. It's a way to pay it forward and make a meaningful impact in the lives of countless students who deserve a chance to shine. This cause is my passion, my purpose, and my way of leaving a lasting legacy of hope and opportunity.
