About the Cause
Dubai Cares’ Walk for Education is a symbolic three kilometer walk that aims to highlight one of the challenges children face in acquiring quality education in developing countries where they have to walk an average of three kilometers every day in order to go to school. We have so far organized 10 editions of the “Walk for Education”
My Story
Madrasah Al- Muawanah School established six years ago in rural areas in Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java, Indonesia. They have 97 students with 7 teachers, but have no classroom, so they must study general educatio and tahfidz Al- Qur'an under the sunlight on Waqf Land for the school, sometimes they study in mosque or small prayer room around, but still they can't study peacefully because worry about limited time for use the place. Since established, we have propose for help us have the classroom to government or donor but still have no respons. with heavy financial conditions, we still hope that we can give adequate educations for our students.
