About the Cause

Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.

In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.

My Story

Help me raise funds and awareness for the people of Nepal! In the fall of 2021 I am traveling with Clean Drink Adventures to the most remote corners of Nepal. Along the way we will hand-deliver lifesaving drinking water purification supplies to rural communities and schools. Although my travels are 100% self-funded, the donations our team raise go directly to the drinking water project. The Clean Drink Fund is a registered 501(c)3 Charitable Organization based in Colorado and operating year round in Nepal. In just the last two years, Clean Drink travel teams have raised enough money to provide safe drinking water solutions to more than 20,000 people. Like them, we will hand-carry purification systems to Nepal where they will provide sustainable drinking water for a minimum of five years. In 2019 Clean Drink Adventures launched an all-new program to install robust water treatment and storage systems in remote schools. Each system includes hand washing stations, classroom water dispensers, and continual educational programs to promote lifelong water health habits. A single Safe Water School installation can provide safe water for up to 500 rowdy kids for up to 5 years at a cost of $500. Like drops in a bucket, every dirham helps! www.cleandrinkadventures.org Thank you!
