About the Cause
Gender equality is a cross-cutting theme in all Dubai Cares’ education programs with an approach that aims to secure equal access for boys and girls to safe learning environments with adequate facilities, materials and academic support from gender sensitized teachers and communities.
My Story
Education is a basic human right. Every child regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, religion has the right to a full access to education. Educated girls can make informed choices from a far better range of options, which helps save lives and builds stronger families, communities and economies. With an education, girls will understand their rights, have a greater sense what is needed to support their health and wellbeing as well as that of their families, and they will have greater opportunities to be employed in environments and workplaces that fulfill their potential and offer them safety and security. This will contribute to a state's economic growth, reduced poverty, improved healthcare, better and more informed female leaders, and help establish truly sustainable societies. Working collaboratively, we at Dwight School Dubai want to help aid the development of education for girls to ensure a better, fairer and more just world.
