About the Cause
Gender equality is a cross-cutting theme in all Dubai Cares’ education programs with an approach that aims to secure equal access for boys and girls to safe learning environments with adequate facilities, materials and academic support from gender sensitized teachers and communities.
My Story
In Balochistan, cultural barriers have long kept girls from receiving an education. Led by Dur Khatoon Baloch, a group of individuals launched a fundraising campaign in a deprived village of District Awaran, Balochistan to build schools, train teachers, and provide learning materials. Their efforts have led to more girls enrolling in school, but there is still work to be done. Every donation, no matter how small, can help break the cycle of poverty and improve the quality of life in the region. Educating girls is essential to creating a more equitable society and building a brighter future for everyone in Balochistan.
