About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
Lilian Smith, aged 24 and working DownTown Dubai. Lost her job recently where she is already in a stage of depression, Now her grandmother is in the hospital in South Africa and has a day more of life as per the doctors report. She can be treated but the doctors cant begin without the full amount . Lilian has taken 1500 dollars of loan already and she needs 1500 dollars more. She is in desperate need of money now . Here is a short note prepared by her concerning this issue as per my request to do so: Well my grandma is 61 years of age and she is in ICU fighting heart attack.Not quiet long ago she got back from the market where she went to buy foodstuffs and from there she got a call that my dad which is her son died in a car accident with his wife and their son which is my younger brother . Hearing this my grandmother got a heart attack immediately and since then she had been in the hospital suffering from heart attack . She can't be treated unless the full amount is paid at the hospital. The amount is almost around 6000 AED . Hope we all could donate and help her and her grandmother together.
