About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
Evren Ozka is a British entrepreneur, CEO and founder of Everybodies Nutrition and luxury sneaker brand Mallet London. He has been taking on epic challenges to raise awareness and funds for those in need, and to inspire others. 'My name is Evren Ozka. About a 2 years ago I decided to change my lifestyle and be a better role model for my 2 sons. At the time I was overweight and addicted to food, nicotine and alcohol. I set myself the task of running 100 miles with no previous running experience or training, to prove to myself and others that anything is possible and that there is no limit to what the human mind can achieve. I completed the race and since then have been challenging myself regularly to try and push my limits and boundaries. Not just in physical feats but if life also. I moved to Dubai last year and want to take on this exciting challenge to raise money and awareness for those in need.'
