About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
My daughter complained of neck pain and during examination by doctors at a local hospital in January 2023, tests showed that she had tonsillar herniation of the cerebellar which was causing pressure on the cervical spinal cord. Despite numerous surgical interventions, admission to intensive care unit, being placed on ventillators, she is yet to recover. As of today, she is still in the ICU ward of the hospital and placed on a ventillator to help her breath. She is currently sufferring from Lung Fibrosis which is causing her lungs to be stiff and does not allow her to breath. She cannot be shifted out of country in this health for further treatment as well. My insurance has covered all my expenses upto the limits as provided by my employer but the expenses are racking up and i am now requesting the kind residents of Dubai and UAE to help my daughter recover. I have all the medical reports from the concerned doctors and hospitals and will present it for any clarification.
