As a Tetr College of Business student, I travel across 7 countries, launching businesses to learn through practicality. But with each new place, I strive to leave a positive impact. This term, as I study in Dubai, my heart turns to Gaza. I’m raising funds to extend hope and relief to those affected.

About the Cause

Gaza in Our Hearts is a Ramadan fundraising campaign by Dubai Cares that aims to support the people of Gaza with emergency relief aid including: Hot Meals Distribution, Food Basket Distribution and Emergency Shelter Tents.

To ensure the prompt and efficient supply of this emergency relief, we have partnered with Anera who are working closely with UN, diplomatic and non-governmental organization partners to open aid corridors to enable it to urgently deliver life-saving aid.

Through your generosity and compassion, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by the humanitarian crisis. Together, let us stand in solidarity with Gaza and demonstrate that hope and compassion know no borders.

My Story

I was born in Nepal but raised in Japan, experiencing life between two very different worlds. Traveling between these countries, I witnessed the glaring contrast between a developed nation and one still fighting for progress. This constant movement made me more observant, especially to the injustices that exist in societies on different ends of the development spectrum. I became passionate about not ignoring these inequalities, whether big or small, and finding ways to make a positive impact. Attending Tetr College of Business has been the perfect platform for me to pursue this passion. The college’s global approach to business education equips me with the tools to influence change on a broader scale. So as per the first term; Dubai, the ongoing Gaza conflict comes to mind as a painful reminder of the urgent need for justice. While in the Middle East, I am concentrating on this issue, hoping to make a slight difference in the region.
