About the Cause

Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:

Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.

Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.

Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.

My Story

The Hayek Economic Society was founded this year by our dedicated members with a diverse set of goals, including supporting our local communities both on our school campus and in the surrounding neighborhood. We are excited to campaign for the importance of youth education and to directly contribute to this goal through our support from Dubai Cares.

Over the past few months, the Hayek group has focused on the theoretical significance of education for the economy, producing a series of reports that highlight the value of education in the UAE, particularly the import and export of its educational resources. After extensive deliberation, we concluded that our research should concentrate on the critical importance of early childhood education.

Our club was greatly inspired by our teachers to take initiative in our studies, fostering a community of collaborative learning, stimulating debates, and challenging projects. The Hayek Economic Society is a group of passionate young minds committed to accomplishing our mission.

Looking ahead, we aim to expand our outreach and impact, continually advocating for educational initiatives and supporting efforts that make a tangible difference. By partnering with organizations like Dubai Cares, we hope to amplify our efforts and contribute to a brighter future for youth education. Together, we are determined to transform our vision into reality, one step at a time.

A big thanks to our supporters
