About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
My name is Maureen, A mother to baby Amanda, I was unable to travel back to my country due corona virus pandemic,I seek help from our consulate and to others but there was no flight flowing through because of lock down,on the day of my delivery, i was rushed to Iranian hospital where i gave birth to my baby Amanda through (cesarean section) and after birth my baby went through (blood transfusion) our bills came out of (40,000) aed. I and my husband's passport with my baby's birth certificate was withheld by the Iranian hospital management, we were unable to pay our bills due to my husband lost his job during the covid19 luck down, i and my family has been suffering from one place to another due to no company to employ a non passport holder, my husband lost his job during covid19 pandemic March 2020 and i gave birth on June 23rd 2020. My baby's first birthday is 23rd June 2021. This is one year of no job,no good living, no immunization to baby Amanda, no health care, no good food and sometimes people pay our house rent , sometimes we sleep outside with our baby. My husband is doing afflict marketing and website building but non has started bringing food into our table. Please help baby AMANDA to live a happy live. Thanks for your helping hands
