About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
My name is jhunfee , and I am reaching out to you today with a heart full of hope and gratitude. I have been diagnosed with a left vertebral artery fusion aneurysm, a serious condition that requires immediate medical attention. My doctors have recommended a flow divert stenting procedure to prevent the aneurysm from causing life-threatening complications. This journey has been overwhelming and frightening, but it has also shown me the incredible strength of community and the power of compassion. The cost of the surgery, along with pre-operative tests and post-operative care, is daunting. Despite my best efforts to save and secure funds through insurance and support from loved ones, I find myself facing a significant financial gap. Setting up this fundraising campaign is not just about raising money; it’s about giving me a chance at life. It’s about providing me with the opportunity to see my future, free from the looming threat of this aneurysm. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to that future and fills me with hope. Your support means everything to me. It means I can look forward to more days spent with my family and friends, more moments of joy and laughter, and the simple yet profound gift of good health. It means that I can continue to pursue my dreams and live a life without the constant fear of a medical emergency. This campaign is a lifeline. It’s a way for me to bridge the financial gap and ensure that I receive the treatment I urgently need
