About the Cause
Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:
Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.
Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.
Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.
My Story
Hello, My name is TCHAH NAHOUAN Marie Rose Laetitia , a citizen of Benin, and I wish to immigrate to Canada through the Express Entry program, which recruits skilled workers to meet the country’s labor market needs. This project is crucial for my career and for supporting my family, as the lack of professional opportunities in my country makes life very challenging. I am seeking your support to finance the administrative procedures and living expenses necessary to obtain a Canadian visa and settle in Canada. The estimated budget is as follows: • Express Entry program application fee (including processing and permanent residence fee for one person): approximately 1,325 CAD • Credential evaluation (ECA): approximately 200–250 CAD • Language test (IELTS or TEF): approximately 300–350 CAD • Visa and biometrics: approximately 500 CAD • Professional assistance / additional document preparation: approximately 200–300 CAD • Proof of funds for visa requirements (living expenses including housing, food, transport, and insurance for the first months in Canada): approximately 13,310 CAD for a single applicant (as required by Canadian immigration for Express Entry in 2026) The total estimated amount needed to achieve this project is therefore around 15,835–15,985 CAD. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring me closer to my goal and allow me to cover these essential steps to legally immigrate and successfully pursue my life project.
