About the Cause
My Story
My name is Dhiraj Sahani, and I am from Nepal. Like many people from my country, I left my home and my loved ones to work abroad. Every day I wake up at 6 AM, work long hours, come home late at night exhausted, and still push myself to keep going — because my only dream is to give my family a better life. A few years ago, my younger sister was getting married. It was one of the happiest but also one of the hardest moments of my life. We didn’t have enough money for her wedding, but as her elder brother, I couldn’t let her new life begin without dignity. Out of love and responsibility, I took a loan to cover the costs of her marriage. I don’t regret helping my sister — but today, that loan has become a huge burden on me. The interest keeps growing, and no matter how hard I work, I feel like I’m drowning. I am living far away from my family, sacrificing my comfort, but I still cannot clear this debt on my own. It is very difficult for me to write this. I am not someone who asks for help easily. But I am at a point where I truly need the kindness of others. Your support will: Help me pay off the debt I took for my sister’s marriage. Free me from the heavy interest so I can stand on my own feet again. Give me hope and strength to continue working hard for my family’s future. Even a small contribution means the world to me. And if you cannot donate, simply sharing my story can also help. Thank You
