My Story

My name is Ahmed Mohamed Ibrahim, and I am desperately seeking help to save my family from the horrors of war in Sudan. My mother has been trapped in a conflict zone in Khartoum since December 2023, surviving only on charity while struggling with high blood pressure and no medical care. My brother was kidnapped in February 2024 by a militia and is being held in harsh conditions with little food, water, or medical care. They demand $2,500 ransom for his release. My father recently passed away due to untreated kidney failure, and my sister, a final-year nursing student, is at risk of losing her education because we can’t afford the $1,200 she needs to graduate. I have fled to Kigali, Rwanda, trying to survive on $170 per month from freelancing, but it is not enough. I am raising $7,000 to rescue my brother, evacuate my mother, fund my sister’s education, and provide food, medical care, and temporary housing. This is an urgent situation—every moment counts.
