My Story

Unfortunately, on October 21, 2023, my world came crashing down. The devastating impact of the conflict stripped away everything dear to me: my university, which witnessed countless cherished moments and served as a sanctuary for ambitious minds; my memories and friends; and parts of my family home that were destroyed by war. War knows no mercy, as it destroys structures and lives indiscriminately. Standing amidst the rubble of my university and once vibrant home, I felt the weight of loss for every cherished memory and shattered dream buried beneath the debris. Gaza, my beloved city, now lies in ruins and deprivation. Basic necessities like food and water have become luxuries, as many of us endure long lines for contaminated water and makeshift cooking arrangements amid the rubble.
