To ensure the prompt and efficient supply of this emergency relief, we have partnered with Anera who are working closely with UN, diplomatic and non-governmental organization partners to open aid corridors to enable it to urgently deliver life-saving aid.

My Story
**“Please Help Me Save My Friend’s Father’s Life: A Story from Gaza”** My name is **Khlil Hamdouna**, and today I am writing not out of comfort or peace, but from a place of fear, urgency, and desperation. I am reaching out to the world not just as a friend, but as a human being who is clinging to the last threads of hope to save the life of someone dear to me—**the father of my close friend, Mohamed El Bardaweel**. His father is everything to their family. He is the pillar that held them together, the quiet force of love, sacrifice, and resilience. But today, he is the one in need—and urgently. And it breaks my heart to say that they cannot save him alone. We are in **Gaza**—yes, *that* Gaza. The place you see in the news when tragedy strikes. The land under siege, where hope is scarce, where every sunrise feels like a miracle, and where even survival is a daily battle. And today, that battle is deeply personal. Mohamed’s father needs **emergency surgery**, and without it, **his condition will worsen beyond recovery**. The doctors have made it clear: the surgery must happen now. But knowing what needs to be done and being able to do it are not the same thing in Gaza. The hospitals here are overwhelmed, under-equipped, and exhausted from the endless cycles of war. Critical medical supplies are nearly gone. Travel permits for treatment outside Gaza are almost impossible to get.
