About the Cause
Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:
Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.
Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.
Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.
My Story
For the past 6 years i have been figuring on how to help my fellow youths and children at large in order for them to aquire the kind of Education that they deserve. Since the world is moving too fast interms of technology, i came up with something called the Zeducareer which is an online platform that provides Elite Education that is important in our society. In Tanzania we have a quite a number of youths who have dropped out of school and some are engaging them selves in illegal and immoral activites that degrade our culture yet they can be of use to the societies they live in. Zeducareer will provide short courses such as Agro farming, fashion and desighn, online teaching, business programs, ICT programs, etc. That we think they are vital in the world we are living in today. I have decided to use this method since many of them don't feel like going back to school and sometimes these courses are way too expensive for them to attain them. Zeducareer will be providing free ipads to atleast 10 groups of youths in every region for those who can't posses smart phones as a start so that they can access our free learning programs. In short they will be able to learn from anywhere at anytime and become job creators instead of job seekers. Every child/youths will be able to learn a specific course of their choice but with guidelines from our board members and representatives in every regions they will be attending free seminars too in order to aquire the knowledge about our programs.
