My Story

In Gaza, countless families wake up each day not knowing where their next meal will come from or where they will find shelter for the night. The streets are filled with people who have lost everything—homes, loved ones, and the basic security that most of us take for granted.

Imagine being a parent, looking into your child’s eyes, knowing you cannot provide them with food or a safe place to sleep. This is the heartbreaking reality for so many families in Gaza. But together, we can make a difference.

This April, I will be taking on an incredible challenge alongside my colleagues—a 100km trek over five days, starting in the breathtaking city of Bir and journeying through the towering, snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan Dhauladhar range. The route will take us through high mountain passes, dense pine and rhododendron forests, and rugged, demanding terrain—all in support of a vital cause.

Our trek is dedicated to ‘Gaza in Our Hearts’ by Dubai Cares, an initiative that aims to provide emergency relief for those in desperate need. Through this campaign, we hope to raise essential funds to supply hot meals, food baskets, and waterproof, fire-resistant tents for families who have lost everything.
