About the Cause
Gaza in Our Hearts is a Ramadan fundraising campaign by Dubai Cares that aims to support the people of Gaza with emergency relief aid including: Hot Meals Distribution, Food Basket Distribution and Emergency Shelter Tents.
To ensure the prompt and efficient supply of this emergency relief, we have partnered with Anera who are working closely with UN, diplomatic and non-governmental organization partners to open aid corridors to enable it to urgently deliver life-saving aid.

My Story
Every drop of water is a lifeline in Gaza, a region where clean water, proper sanitation, and hygiene are scarce luxuries. The people of Gaza face relentless challenges- restricted access to clean water, outdated sanitation infrastructure, and the constant threat of waterborne diseases. But together, we can change this. Imagine Fatima, a mother of four, who wakes up every morning uncertain whether she'll have enough clean water for her children to drink, let alone cook or bathe. Her family, like thousands of others, relies on unreliable and often unsafe water sources. without access to clean water, even basic needs become daily battles. Children like Ahmed, just 8 years old, are forced to walk miles to collect water from sources that are not guaranteed to be safe. This leaves little time for school or play, and exposes them to the risk of waterborne diseases like cholera or diarrhea - leading causes of child mortality in regions with poor sanitation But there is hope.
