RE: LIVER TRANSPLANT - REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Health and Nutrition

AED 830,000.00

About the Cause

Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.

In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.

My Story

My name is Asha Hussein Abati, 48 years old and currently staying in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I am writing this letter to request assistance from your foundation. I was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis in 2017. I have frequently been admitted to Rashid Hospital to receive medical care and prescription drugs under the direction of Dr. Nawal Salem Saeed Al. My liver condition is deteriorating, and the outlook is not good. For this reason, I was advised to have an urgent liver transplant to be performed by Dr. Shiva Kumar in Cleveland, Abu Dhabi. I spent a lot of my family's hard-earned money over the past few years on my repeated hospital admissions and our financial position cannot afford paying the transplant cost, which is more than AED 830,000 given that our family's income is very low. You have always been generous in helping people around you and I feel so fortunate to be a beneficiary of your kindness. Thank you in advance. Yours Sincerely, ASHA HUSSEIN ABATI +971 544246588
