About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
Greetings, I'd like to tell you the situation of my dad. He is only a farmer also my mother, she is the one who is taking care of him right now, he already felt that there is something wrong in his neck, little did he now that it is a thyroid cancer and due to poverty, he was unable to undergo an early treatment, we only ask God for healing. He is a man of faith and he raise us to be a God believer and follower, we are thankful because he is still with us until now . When the time that he went to the doctor he is already stage 4 and they said that the chance is slim for him to be cured. And instead of undergoing an immediate operation we waited for the charity which is free operation but it took so long until his neck become bigger and bigger, the only thing that we can do is to pray because we dont have money to finance his operation immediately that's why we rely on the free/charity. He was able to go trough radiation tho and know he is at home, and he can't sit for too long because he get tired. When he is eating the food go trough the tube on his nose. He cant talk he communicate trough writing only and sign . Please, any amount from you is a big help for him . We can only include you in our prayer as a return . My name is Joram and I'm his son.
