By supporting Dubai Cares Adopt a School initiative we can help break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and low expectations through education in developing countries. Our partnership with Dubai Cares supports Mace’s 'Grow Together' purpose as we aim to help provide inclusive and quality education in disadvantaged communities.

My Story

We are raising funds to help build and operate a school in Western Nepal. The Mace Foundation (UK registered charity 1150134) will donate £20,000 (approx. AED 104,242) to kick start fundraising efforts and will provide further support via it’s match funding programme. We will be encouraging Mace people; employees, clients, supply chain partners, family and friends to support us in our fundraising efforts by taking part in challenges or simply making a donation to our campaign page. Collectively we need to raise a total of AED 165,700 to help build and operate the school – including teacher training and 18 months of adult education and literacy classes. These funds will help build a 3-classroom school which the whole local community will benefit from. We know first-hand how successful Dubai Cares Adopt a School initiative works, we’ve helped to build and operate schools in Malawi, South Eastern Africa and Cambodia, South-East Asia. These schools will support thousands of children and adults with inclusive and equitable quality education.
