About the Cause

Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:

Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.

Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.

Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.

My Story

I am from Syria I suffered from Torturing & force Detention in Syria after that my life changed and I moved to Lebanon I found my own way to aid people and giving more effort and time to humanity causes and I will never stop! I moved to Dubai recently for one Goal actually to find new ways to help people and gain more personal experience. I have a long experience in volunteering with different NGOs and I have spent a lot of time supporting refugees especially children. the name (Mn Khaymtna) Means in Arabic (From our tent) we support 30 kids they are living in 8 tents in a refugee camp in Lebanon-Beqaa. the tent is very hot in summer and too cold during winter, only 2 kids already going to school. The funds will go directly for education purposes (cost of school fees, note books,..etc) then buy essentials for kids such clothes (especially it is winter right now and its very cold for the people), medicine ( a lot of people cant afford prices), and other things such supporting the families of the kids or food and supplies (heating fuel, Rent cost of the tents). Sometimes the team provide aid by visiting the kids regularly; however sometimes its hard to face challenges one of our challenges is our small budget as team and mainly it comes from the small donations from us as team members; and usually it is not enough to meet the team goals to provide education, treatment ,and needs at basic for the children's. It is our duty and it is our responsibility. Thanks.
