About the Cause
Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:
Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.
Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.
Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.
My Story
Every child dreams of a brighter future, but for many underprivileged children, education remains out of reach. Growing up in communities where poverty dictates choices, children are often forced into labor, denied opportunities, and stripped of the chance to learn. Their potential remains hidden, not because of lack of talent, but because of lack of opportunity. With this deep realization, Empowering Dreams – Modern School for Underprivileged Children was envisioned. This initiative is more than just a school—it is a movement to break the cycle of poverty and empower young minds through education, values, and life skills. We believe that when a child learns, a family progresses, and a community transforms. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where children aged 5–12 (Grades 1–7) can access quality education, modern learning tools, nutritious support, and holistic growth opportunities. From providing free textbooks and uniforms to ensuring activity-based learning, we want every child to experience dignity, hope, and equal opportunity. This journey is not ours alone—it is a collective mission. With the support of kind donors and partners, we can transform forgotten dreams into realities. Together, we can build not just a school, but a foundation of hope for generations to come.
