I represented Myanmar back in 2019-2020 and that place has been close to my heart since. I would like to have a donation drive for the people of Myanmar and I do have a lot of different friends from different backgrounds but I am not really that sure how to get around with - my friend's dad is a pilot though and I trust him……...

About the Cause

Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:

Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.

Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.

Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.

My Story

I represented Myanmar in 2019–2020, and the experience stayed with me long after the title ended. It taught me how deeply systems — education, infrastructure, access to clean water and food — shape human potential. Myanmar became more than a country I spoke for; it became a place I felt responsible toward. Since then, I’ve developed a strong interest in emerging technologies and global systems, from nanotechnology to advanced HVAC and manufacturing networks. I’m an avid reader, currently exploring Blue Ocean Strategy, and I use mind-mapping tools to connect ideas across disciplines. These tools help me see how innovation can be redirected toward communities that have been left behind. While I may not always move fastest through everyday technical tasks, I think deeply about structure, sustainability, and long-term impact. I often design detailed blueprints and future-focused concepts — not as abstract ideas, but as responses to real gaps I’ve witnessed. This donation drive is rooted in that same way of thinking. Myanmar doesn’t just need aid; it needs thoughtful, human-centered systems of support. Through this initiative, I hope to bring together people from different backgrounds to contribute to something grounded in trust, dignity, and care — values Myanmar taught me before I ever knew how to name them.
