About the Cause
Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:
Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.
Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.
Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.
My Story
The Outer Island Program is a compatriots life empowerment and development program for those who live in the outer islands in Indonesia. ACT provides food aid, education, physical development & economic aid to improve our compatriots' well-being who live in the outer islands through this program. such as : 1. Teacher Living Coast Provide incentives for outer islands' teachers to improve well-being. Ensure the teachers haven’t a shortage during teaching. 2. The Outer Islands School The classrooms were developed with a full set of tables, chairs, and other supporting study facilities for improving education quality in other islands. 3. Revival Mullah living Cost Provides incentive for outer islands’ revival mullah to improve their well-being. Ensure every revival mullah hasn’t a shortage during preaching. 4. MOSQUE FOR MUALAF VILLAGE Jawamara Mualaf Village is located on Kambuhapang Village, Lewa district, East Sumba Regency, Nusa Tenggara Timur. There are 77 Mualaf families in Kambuhapang Village. People get coaching and teaching of religion by Lewa Religious Affairs Office. Heretofore, people still don’t have a worship place. If someone died, they do the funeral prayer at the inhabitant‘s house. Every religious activity is being done at the inhabitant’s house alternately. TOGETHER WE HELP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE OUTER ISLANDS TO HAVE PROSPEROUS LIFE!
