About the Cause
Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:
Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.
Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.
Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.
My Story
Dinajpur Polli Unnayan Prochesta (DPUP) is a non-partisan, independent, non-government and nonprofit national philanthropic voluntary organization committed to empower the both rural & slum poorest poor women & children by providing Education, Social Service & Development support that will institutionalize gender in the civic power structure to eliminate all forms of existing discriminations against women & children. It is governed by a constitution adopted by the General Committee as well as approved by the Department of social service and the NGO Affairs Bureau. Dinajpur Palli Unnayan Prochesta (DPUP) was established in the year 2007 as a non government socio economic development voluntary organization. It started its journey with a view to take development initiatives for the vulnerable community under Dinajpur district. DPUP is the ultimate consequence of synergistic and concerted efforts of some self-devoted young social initiators from various academic disciplines. Dinajpur Palli Unnayan Prochesta (DPUP) at present installing its drives in the institutional dynamics since its inceptions prioritizing right based approach considering Child rights, Community led process, IGA, WatSan, Advocacy & Networking, Civility promotion to the tribal communities, Disaster preparedness and Social Awareness Campaign. It is well ahead as an NGO with multi dimensional development initiatives for the community with special emphasis to the lack behind people of the society.
