About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
My name is Yulia Brovinskaya, I am a Ukrainian psychoanalytic psychologist, family system therapist, tramotherapist. Despite all the knowledge gained by psychologists in Ukraine, the war caught everyone by surprise. No one expected such cruelty and aggression against civilians. Since the beginning of the war, I have been able to organize targeted training to work with 2,700 psychologists with war trauma, with the help of Israeli specialists, who are the only ones with experience in such situations. Now our psychologists are helping people in Ukraine to survive terrible events with great dedication. They work day and night without any payments. Psychologists work both individually in crisis counseling and lead permanent support groups. In March, we have started psychological support groups for Ukrainians, many of whom remained in Ukraine. More than 1,500 people now need support, and 35 psychologists are working with them. we are looking for opportunities to support this project. We will be grateful to everyone who supports us and will provide all the reporting of money spent on payment to psychologists.
