About the Cause
Dubai Cares’ Walk for Education is a symbolic three kilometer walk that aims to highlight one of the challenges children face in acquiring quality education in developing countries where they have to walk an average of three kilometers every day in order to go to school. We have so far organized 10 editions of the “Walk for Education”
My Story
When beliefs we do not accept are part of someone's religious worldview, the virtue of tolerance tells us to proceed with caution. It warns against making snap judgments about the quality of the person who holds those beliefs, which is the right way to be respectful. Causes of religious intolerance are Ignorance; Impatience; Selflessness; Lack of proper education is the major reason for religious conflicts and violence among different communities. Our target groups are the children and adolescent in this campaign. Regular interaction, volunteering, digital education, writing, advocacy & lobbying are some important program activities here to mitigate the issue.
