My Story
My name is Vinod Singh Jethuri, and I’ve been working in the UAE for the past 20 years. Alongside my professional journey, I’ve always remained deeply connected to my roots in Uttarakhand, India. With a vision to give back to society, I founded an NGO called Samoon Foundation. Under Samoon Foundation, we are currently running Samoon Adarsh Vidyalaya (SAV) in the remote Himalayan village of Osla, and 17 skill development centers across different parts of India, focusing on empowering underprivileged communities through education and training. Osla, located in the Har Ki Dun Valley, is a beautiful yet extremely remote village in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The village still lacks basic facilities like roads, healthcare, and internet connectivity. Children here walk miles to attend school, and many families struggle to afford even the most basic educational needs like uniforms and stationery. That’s why we started SAV – Osla, to ensure that even the children of this remote Himalayan village get access to quality education, free of cost. With your support, we can continue to sponsor their school needs and build a brighter, self-reliant future for them. Join us in this journey of education, empowerment, and change.
