My Story

Hi, I’m Zayn Sharma, a year 05 student in Dubai. I chose to be a fundraiser because I believe that no one should suffer without help. When I learned about the struggles people in Lebanon are facing—like not having enough food or medicine—I felt sad. I realized that even though I’m young, I can still make a difference. I want to help Lebanon because everyone deserves a chance to live a happy life, no matter where they are. My parents and teachers taught me that when someone is struggling, it’s important to lend a hand. Even small actions, like raising money and spreading awareness, can change lives. For me, this fundraiser isn’t about recognition or rewards; it’s about knowing I did something meaningful. When I see people caring enough to donate, it makes me proud of all of us working together to make a positive impact. I want to show that kids can help with important causes, and that our ideas can bring hope. This experience has shown me that helping others feels good, and I believe that everyone, no matter how young or old, can do something to support those in need. Through this fundraiser, I want to show the people of Lebanon that they’re not alone and that kindness and hope still exist in the world.
