About the Cause
Poor health and nutrition negatively affect children’s school attendance and ability to learn. We implement school feeding programs that look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable supply of nutritious foods to school children and young people in urban and marginalized areas.
In addition, contaminated water and poor sanitation are big factors that result in the death of children worldwide. In our programs, we always include what is called WASH which means Water, Sanitation & Hygiene. This is done through the design and construction of child-friendly and gender sensitive facilities for sanitation, such as latrines and hand-washing stations. We also provide clean water supply by building water wells and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
My Story
Because of the ongoing Syrian war, there are hundreds of thousands of injured civilians who suffer from many kinds of illnesses, and because of the use of chemical weapons many new illnesses have appeared. All services and operations are provided for patients completely free and we are doing our best to help all Syrian refugee patients. ALAMAL HEALTH CENTER in ARSAL REFUGEE CAMP LEBANON provides services for more than 20000 persons of host community and more than 30000 syrian refugee patients. ALAMAL HEALTH CENTER has many section such as ear, nose, throat clinic, cardiology clinic, internal clinic, pediatric clinic, emergency medicine, ophthalmology clinic, public health clinic, physical therapy, urology clinic, vaccine, pharmacy, psychological and social support and many other sections. ALAMAL INTERNATIONAL CHARITY organization has launched this campaign to secure the sustainable medical services for poor people and those who can not afford the payment of treatment, in addition to standing by patients who need us. ALAMAL HEALTH CARE looks like the only place where poor refugees and the host community can go and receive their treatment without fearing the lack of their money because all services are free.
