About the Cause
Gender equality is a cross-cutting theme in all Dubai Cares’ education programs with an approach that aims to secure equal access for boys and girls to safe learning environments with adequate facilities, materials and academic support from gender sensitized teachers and communities.
My Story
As Agape ACP organisation we have been supporting girls located in rural areas in obtaining adult education related to acquiring skills so as to become financially independent. Currently, we are experiencing a shortage of funds for providing food and meals for students so as for them to continue obtaining knowledge and skills. We have an adult education center i.e. called AKOS located in the Tanzanian country at Shinyanga region, focusing on providing skills to girls affected by child marriages and forced marriages as well as those experiencing violence from different family and community perspectives. We humbly seek support from any prospective giver so as the girls to continue learning in a comfortable environment
