About the Cause

Dubai Cares’ programs are designed to reduce, if not remove, the greatest obstacles that prevent children and young people in developing countries from attaining quality education. With each intervention, Dubai Cares evaluates the need for assistance across two key areas:

Access to Education which allows Dubai Cares to improve children’s health and learning environment, increase education enrollment and attainment, increase access to education, reduce absenteeism, increase gender parity and increase promotion rates.

Quality of Education which enables early learning, enhances educational attainment and school progression, improves literacy and numeracy skills among children, enables teachers to access teacher training resulting in better learning outcomes, reduce dropout rates and increase primary school attainment.

Dubai Cares is a long-term advocate of safeguarding children and young people’s right to education and is currently playing a global advocacy role in spreading the knowledge about the importance of providing education to the unprivileged children.
We also champion education through research - There is an overwhelming lack of evidence as to what works to promote children’s learning in crisis-affected contexts. Research plays a pivotal role in tackling this issue.

My Story

Hello there iam setting up this fundraising campaign so that it can help me and my team to raise the much needed funds for our Tonse Community education project. The funds being requested are for the implementation of our Tonse vulnerable community education project where we are providing free early childhood, primary and secondary education to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children as well as provision of free back to school scholarships to the girls and Teenager mothers and in our quest to support and promote girl child education. This project makes hands on contribution to the achievement of SDG goal No. 4 that of provision of inclusive and quality education for all leaving no one behind reaffirming the belief that education is one of the most powerful and proven vehicles for sustainable development. Through this project we also aim at ensuring that all girls and boys complete free primary and secondary schooling by 2030 thereby achieving SDG No 4. Therefore it must be appreciated that this Project is providing early childhood, primary and secondary educational opportunities to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children. These children come to school to learn free of charge, we provide them with free education materials such as books, pens, rubber, sharpeners shoes uniforms and covid-19 safety kits for them to learn properly. We also provide them with free lunch as most of them come from broken and very poor and disadvantaged families.
